Shaheen Mistri thinks no education system is ideal

Shaheen Mistri, entrepreneur and founder of the Akanksha Foundation as well as the chief executive officer of Teach For India (TFI), one of the six delegates who represented the country at the presidential summit on Entrepreneurship at Washington DC in April thinks no education system is ideal

According to her, there’s too much pressure in our education system, hence suicides happen. Her NGO is taking initiatives, to show that education need not be about rote learning or results oriented. No education system is ideal, but we can look at what’s working and how we can adapt it to the Indian context.
